I just got a Losi Late Model. It's all ready to go, now that I've installed a Mugen Ninja .21 engine.  Obviously, I'll still need to do some track setup work.  My question is, do you run sway bars in front and rear? Also, what springs seem to work best?

Gene,
I could see it in your eyes last year and knew it was a done deal that we would see you with a late model.

This is my set up from rescue

oil 70 gray springs front
oil LR 70 RR 60 white springs

try it with the sway bars F & R if loose remove the Rear bar.

the setup is basicly stock other than oil weight.

I would recomend you get a set of RC4less loose track springs so you can run lighter weight oil, the heavy oil is to keep the body from dragging the ground in the corners due to the banking at Rescue. Tires AKA City blocks soft i ran the same set all year at rescue.

Be glad to help get your car set up this year there will be a lot of Late Models this year should be fun.

Go to rc4less.com and get your self some springs

Good luck and happy racing
Pete

Thanks, Pete.  I already got the springs from rc4less, per Bruce's suggestion.  Also got the City blocks. Just have to get the right shock oil. I bought the car fully assembled and it's virtually new.  Right now, there's a sway bar in the front but not the rear (although I have all the parts). I'm anxious to get this thing out on the track.  Unfortunately, I will miss the first oval-only event on Mar 21.  I'll be in southern CA.  Will make the show on the 28th, though (weather permitting).

Gene, I'll be happy to "break" it in for you on the 21st if you want.

Thanks, Rookie. The term "break" in takes on a whole new meaning with you. Unfortunately, I won't be there on the 21st.
